Summer wind down is here...
With the boys traveling to Europe for most of June, July seemed to whiz by so quickly. The boys had a great time in France with family taking in the 80th D-Day ceremonies, and from there they travelled to Belgium to visit and reconnect with good friends and then on to Germany with their uncles for a wonderful bonding time for all of them. It was a holiday they will remember forever.
The boys have been navigating the challenges of taking holidays during the busy landscaping season, as it's hard to schedule jobs and keep qualified employees hanging on, so there have been some bumps, but August is looking to be a very busy month as they get ready to head back to school.
Carter has 1.5 semesters left, but only one remaining at university so the fall semester will likely go by quickly. He's in the process of looking for an internship to complete his studies. And Jaden starts his first year at George Brown College in Finance, so he's really happy with the sweet schedule he has this term which includes Fridays off, and some good available time to devote to studying, so it will be a be an exciting time for him. And I'm still awaiting on surgery, so depending on the timing of that, the fall will create some changes with living conditions as I plan to convalesce at my sister's for the initial stages of healing.
The last several months have brought about some big emotions for the boys as their father has started a new relationship which is bringing a lot of things forward, in particular, their relationship with him. Unfortunately, neither feel they can effectively communicate their feelings, but they do open up to me, which I'm glad they feel safe to do, although it can be hard managing it all. This is where I'm so thankful to have essential oils to help us.
As an emotional release coach, I've been able to use the breakthrough process with them. One of the first oils we used was Green Mandarin. As the oil description was read, big tears began to release. We also use visualization and declarations to release emotions and create new thought patterns. One of the images I like to use is balloons floating away from you, higher and higher, taking the emotions with them. This was a picture I drew with the use of Green Mandarin. When I first started, I was just making circles, but as it completed, it turned into the perfect imagery of balloons to use with my clients.
Green Mandarin is the Ōil of Pure Potential
Green Mandarin, the unripe fruit of the mandarin tree, shares similar characteristics with its ripe counterpart. It is an excellent tonic to aid individuals in returning to childhood delight and simplicity. Green Mandarin's bright and cheerful aroma helps all to remember the budding excitement they once felt about life. In adulthood, individuals often feel trapped or limited by their own belief systems. This oil reminds individuals that they have direct access to pure potential and boundless opportunities. It encourages all to experience joy in the journey and to never stop becoming.
When individuals are feeling weighed down by emotional scars, self-doubt, fear, or failure, Green Mandarin prompts them to harken back to a time before they were encumbered by this baggage. It reminds them to reconnect to their inner child whose heart was open and fearless. It reassures that fear is temporary and abundant possibilities await those who dare to dream. Green Mandarin reminds that wonder and hope are food for the soul and imparts its exuberance for fully living life.
